3 Vitamin Packed Smoothies and Juices For Healthy Skin.




We all know that to keep your skin healthy you need to include at least five fruits and vegetables in your diet, you also need to drink between 6-8 glasses of water a day, but actually fitting these elements into your daily routine can be quite a challenge. Drinking smoothies and juices is a fantastic way to contribute to your 5 a day fruit and vegetable target and they also have a high water content which will contribute to your daily water intake.




Here are 3 delicious smoothies and juices which you can make yourself .




Kiwi Smoothie.




Ingredients :




5 fl oz of milk (soya or rice milk can be used as substitutes)




1 Lemon juiced




1 Lime juiced




2 Kiwis




12 oz of vanilla ice cream (soya ice cream can be used as a substitute)




1 teaspoon of sweetener or 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence




Step 1 : Put all ingredients into a food processor and process on a medium setting until smooth.




Step 2 : Decorate with kiwi slices.






Spicy Carrot Juice.




Ingredients :




9 fl oz of carrot juice




1 teaspoon of lemon juice




1 teaspoon of ginger




I teaspoon of fresh, chopped parsley




3 fl oz of water




Ice cubes




Step 1 : Put all ingredients into a food processor and process on a medium setting until smooth.




Step 2 : Garnish with some chopped parsley and add ice cubes.






Peach and Raspberry Smoothie.




Ingredients :




6 fl oz of milk (soya or rice milk can be used as a substitute).




6 oz of tinned peaches




17 oz of fresh raspberries




2 sliced bananas




Step 1 : Put all ingredients into a processor on a medium setting and process until smooth.




Step 2 : Decorate with raspberries.
